Albumtour07 has finished!
Man did that go fast or what? And I’m actually kinda sad to think I’ll no longer be traveling the country for hours on end with a bunch of smelly boys….. (Jokes - about the smelly boys).
I had a blast driving all over NZ with Andy and Marc from Calling Elijah and Matt and Evan from Season Pass. And let’s not forget to mention the amazing girls who kept me sane and balanced, Bridgit Eyre (Tour Manager) and Becci (LifeFM – Breakfast DJ).
Not only did we get to see the beautiful sights of NZ but we met a bunch of incredible people and were giving the opportunity to perform in some pretty amazing church venues!
A huge thank you to all the churches who hosted us, to everyone who supported us, prayed for us, played with us, and bought our albums. You all rock and you made this tour the success it was!
World Vision, Tearfund and Lifefm - thank you so much for believing in and sponsoring the Albumtour07. You are all amazing ministries/organizations and we look forward to working with you again in the near future. Thanks also to our record companies – Someone Up There Records, Kickstart Records, Forum Records and also Dave at Pure Entertainment New Zealand Limited
Luke, Andy, Steve, Marc – thanks for being my albumtour07 band, you guys are talented musicians and you rock!
The Album Tour resulted in 38 World Vision and Tear Fund child sponsorships. We are all extremely stoked with this. Thank you to everyone who came on board and sponsored a child through these organizations. If you are interested in what Tearfund or World Vision are doing, please check out their websites for more information. www.tearfund.org.nz and www.worldvision.org.nz.
www.lifefm.co.nz and www.soulpurpose.co.nz also want you to check them out!!
So until next time…………………blessings to you all! Love Hannah

Well the album was released and the party was heaps of fun!! Thanks to everyone for your support! Life FM in New Zealand have been playing “Eyes Wide Open” and it’s getting LOTS of airplay which is GREAT!! Please keep my music on Life by voting at www.lifefm.co.nz

Well I’ve finally finished the vocals on the album – rolled into bed at 2am this morning, so feeling really tired (sleep deprived) but man I feel like I’ve accomplished so much in the last week! The songs are sound really good and we’re finally at the mixing stages and then we’re done!! What more can I say – it’s been a really amazing experience, a learning curve and I just can’t believe I’m finally at this point!! It’s a bit early I know but thank you to everyone for all your support and especially all those involved in the album process. I will let you know as soon as it is FINISHED with info on the release date and party!

Well what can I say.....
Nic Manaders has did a fantastic job (I didn't expect anything less) and i love what he has done! Nic and Evan Cooper work great together - Their creative juices taste amazing! I'm getting really excited about the outcome - its great to finally hear the songs with full sounds (an almost finished product), when all you've been hearing is you and a gat for such a long time (hehe). I've been working on the vocal tracks for the past week and its going well!! Although there's been long nights and tired eyes but I'm having fun!! Not long to go now! Still working on vocals tracks, a few gats and keys here and there....... so in about 3 weeks I should be holding a finished product in my hands - Oh heck!

Well it’s been exactly 1 month from today since my last report - WHAT A SLACKER!!
The album is going well apart from technically issues here and there - but that happens right?? I was beginning to think it was me though cos everytime I went to the studio the computer would crash?
Well… we have these difficulties sorted I'm told and the songs are sound FAT – Evan Cooper you TOTALLY ROCK!! The drums are done, even percussion and loops, the bass tracks are on, the gats are sounding great, keys and other sounds here and there.....and I managed to pull out some guide vocal tracks while coping with that winter flu everyone seems to be hit with (haha lucky they’re only guide). I’m stoked to hear that the amazing Nic Manders is coming into the studio tomoro (Friday) and Monday to put in his 10c. Can’t wait to hear what he comes up with!!
So come Monday the songs SHOULD be all done (well the music side) and we hit the vocals. Scarey and exciting!!

NEW PHOTO ALBUM ADDED!
New photos! I've gathered a few photos from our recording sessions for you to check out on my gallery page. view new album

Life in the studio has finally begun after months of writing, re-writing, then re-writing again!! Pre-production began, then day one (yesterday) was spent at The LAB recording studios in Auckland for the drum tracks with the talented Evan Cooper and his side kick... Earl Edgar.
Evan how are those arms feeling today? How you pulled off a whole day of non stop drumming i'll never know - and in record time too!!
Although i technically didn't have a job, i took on the role of Gofer.... food, V's, Redbulls, Coffee and even managed to practice my pool playing skills! But the best part was taking over controls of the desk and pulling that off to - HAHA i see a change of careers in the near future.... ummm not sure about that one! Thanks boys for all your hard work today - Sounding great!!
